Her First "Sermon"

Baptism is a way to proclaim what God has done in your life through Christ. This young lady was one of those that came to the Seed Ministry Site last week. Pastor Amos baptized her while some of the congregation looked on. I noticed the children in the background with different expressions on their faces. Baptism, among other things, is giving a testimony about the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord. Now this young lady, without saying a word, is proclaiming:

"Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We we buried therefore with him by baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life" (Romans 6:3-4).

And "You were buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead" (Col. 2:12).

I pray that those children were listening to this wonderful wordless sermon.

Back To Work Tomorrow

Well, we have had a great few days getting unpacked, resting, enjoying some family time and catching up. Tonight the Seedlings came. Toby, Joy and John did the teaching, all I did was greet but it was great seeing them all.

Back In Tamale

It is good to be back in Tamale. It is amazing to us that we have already experienced a rain that helped to cool the tempurature yesterday. Thank you so much to those of you who have 'prayed' us back here. We very much appreciate it. God continues to be ever faithful. Bob & Bonnie

Finally Here!

Although there were airplane repairs, closed down runways, and delayed flights in the U.S., Bob and Bonnie finally made it to Tamale Sat. morning. It was very good for all of us to be together again. As we met around the table at the Seed Ministry site, we couldn't seem to stop sharing all the news that has happened in the ministry here in Ghana since they have been gone.

Thank you for praying for their safe return back to Tamale, Ghana. Continue to pray for the ministry here, that we seek the Lord's will in everything we say and do.

More Praises!

Praise the Lord! Three churches came on Sunday to baptize a total of 35 new believers! Seed Ministry has been blessed with many visitors lately. Many of them greeting because of the Easter week. It's been a blessing to meet with many pastors and Bible Club leaders as they came to visit. We hope all of you have a great Easter week as we celebrate what the Lord has done for us. His sent His Son as payment for our sins on the cross but Praise God He didn't stay in the grave.

Next Step for New Christians

In the past few weeks, three churches from around the area came to use the baptismal here at the Seed Ministry site. What a blessing it was to see a total of 45 people take the next step of a Christian and show their commitment to Christ through baptism!
