What a wonderful Sunday it was here in Ghana yesterday! We all said "Good Morning" to each other and went to different points in and around Tamale.

Bob preached at a church yesterday. The church building where he preached was built by donations to Seed Ministry. What a blessing to see these ones worshipping in their new building!

Bonnie and Seth went to a church north of Tamale. The church had a special children's service. Bonnie spoke on the importance of children and urged the church to tell children about Jesus because they are the future generations.

Toby, Joy and Caleb went to a church east of Tamale. This church started about a few months ago after a crusade. The Lord has been doing a marvelous work there and many people were in attendance. This week a group of people will be going to teach about the importance of baptism with these new believers.

Catching Up!

Sorry we haven't posted in a while. It has not been easy to get on the internet lately, so we will try to catch up on news!

The team from Cincinnati did an excellent job! The next few blogs will be additional pictures from their experiences. There were many praises to God for the work that was done through them. One praise is that an unbeliever heard the Gospel one evening as she was working in her house. The Word was being proclaimed through a microphone, attached to a speaker, hanging from a tree. She came over at the end of the sermon to tell us that she wanted to know more. We found out this week that the pastor has talked with her and she is excited about her decision! Thank you Marty, Bobbi, Len and Jackie for coming to share your gifts with the people here in Ghana.

Translation has started on the Bible Club questions for 2012. The questions are over Paul's letters. Bonnie has been working diligently with translators as they work on each book.

Thank you for praying for us as we work here in Ghana. We value those every day!

Walking in the Light!

We said goodbye to the team this morning as they departed for the US. We are praying for their safe journey back. Many seeds were planted while they were here. During the revival services and teaching at some villages, we saw some people come asking more about Jesus! Some even asked how they could be saved! Please pray that the ones who expressed a desire would continue to search for the truth of Jesus and that they would grow in the knowledge of Him.

'Team' Work

It has been so good to have another team from the US at Seed Ministry, Ghana this week. They have been doing an excellent job sharing the gospel with the children. The team has been going out to schools, villages, and churches. The team consists of Len, Marty, Bobbi, and Jackie, all from the Cincinnati area. What a gifted (and fun) group of people!

Sowing and Reaping

Seth and Emmanuel delivered some rice and corn to Evangelist Peter and his family from last year's harvest. Meanwhile, the tractor is plowing for this year's crops and seeds will soon go into the ground. This cycle of sowing and reaping also works as we invest our lives in others. Where are you in the cycle today? Sowing... Reaping... or maybe you are at the point of weeding so the 'plant' can continue to grow stronger. Where ever you are God's Word is standing firm that you will 'reap with songs of joy'!
