Growing the Kingdom!

Sunday Afternoon Baptism

Rock Bible Club brought 15 youth to be baptized and an additional 10 adults from the church last Sunday!

The last couple of weeks have been great with Susan & Phillip here from Adventure Church. Their marriage conferences were very diverse with each group, depending on the needs of that particular group. Some didn’t give them much time for the teaching, some took them in one direction while others wanted help in another direction. Their last night brought MANY questions and was a great way to end.

Steve is also still with us while he teaches this year at the Baptist Seminary. He is also our ‘computer guru’ which is how we are managing this new thing.

We went to Galenshegu, Gua and Kpendua on Thursday and returned home Friday. The South Fork team will be ministering there during their trip. Each of these communities have small church families and so want more teaching. It will be a lot of fun spending some time with them.

We returned home in time for the Zone Leader’s meeting. These guys are great and we began planning for next year’s Zone Rallies.

We also had a meeting with God’s Will Day Nursery which is the school Kalpohine Baptist Church has been running as a free mission school for several years. Now the church can no longer support that. Seed Ministry is going to help them bring the school up to higher standards using the ‘pilot’ school program we have been working on with Thomas’ Seedling Kids Academy. We are excited to be helping with another Christian school.

We had our 2nd God Story training yesterday and gave out another 22 Mega Voice Messengers. It is always a joy to see the Bible Club Leaders and to hear their testimonies.

Prayer Needs:
·       We travel to the south this week to pick up the South Fork Team. Can hardly wait for them to arrive!

·       We will be searching once again for a generator (Bob continues keeping this old one chugging for now)
·       Jesse will arrive in Tamale on Saturday with 2 of his pastors. God Story will be recorded in more languages!

·       Toby, Joy, Seth & Caleb have now sold their house (PTL) and are living in an RV. They also have a place to park their vehicle while they are in Ghana and a room to store their things they are keeping.  They arrive in 51 days!!!!!

  1. Bonnie - great blog! So informative! I learned stuff from what you said and I LIVE HERE for goodness sakes - you really need to publicize this to your supporters. They are going to love the additional information. Let's post it to your FB account tomorrow - Steve
